Soft Armor Founder - Rebecca Nietert
Self-Development Coach
Rebecca grew up southeast of Chicago in modest circumstances; according to a profile, she left her hometown with only about $250 in her pocket to move toward opportunity, only to face homelessness and years of struggle. From that place of hardship she gradually built her life, earning a degree, working in retail, hospitality, real-estate/home services, and ultimately combining her skills into writing and entrepreneurship. Today she owns her own business, blogs, writes books, owns her own clothing line, and offers support for trauma in her community.
What stands out is her resilience: she endured disruption, took odd jobs, circled around the chance to build something stable—something that matters. She has said she views herself as a “perpetual student, always learning and growing through the adventures and challenges life throws my way.” When she writes about life she doesn’t shy away from the messy parts: chaos, change, adversity. On her blogging site she says: “Life is adversity. Every day in my life is a whirlwind of chaos. I make sense of the adversity that chaos brings.”

What is Your Identity
Your true identity is not a job title; it is the resilient foundation of your whole self. It is the deep-seated character that guides your decisions, the morals that define your conduct, and the profound wisdom of your own soul. Identity is expressed in your daily actions, revealed through your priorities, and fundamentally rooted in what you choose to let bring you joy and love. This is where your truest strength lies—not in external validation, but in the internal compassion and tenacity to live authentically. Your career is something you do; your identity is the powerful, unchangeable core of who you are. We will explore how you see yourself, and how others see you. The impact your life has on those you love. Ultimately what you want from life, and the struggles you are encountering during your journey.
